I'd like to talk about what is going to happen in the future for me and what that is going to mean for me.
So, to put it straight, I'm going to a boarding school next year for school and will be starting August 10th.
From the day I start there, my phone will be taken away from me for two weeks, and I won't get it back until the two weeks are over or if I go home on the weekend, which I don't know if I will or won't do. I believe I will have access to my laptop during those two weeks, but I have no idea if the Wi-Fi there is going to be locked down so that I can't access things like Discord and whatnot.
I'm honestly really scared about this big change for me. I will most likely not be very active, if at all, within the Orion Drift community for the next two weeks or maybe even the entire year moving forward. I have made so many amazing friends in the Orion Drift community and gained substantial positions within it, which I would love to uphold, but I'm not sure if I will be able to do that.
I've tried my best over the last few weeks to gain access to the spectator camera, both so I can uphold my positions as Rookie Moderator, Clubhouse Trial Event Staff, GWD Trial Coach, and the other amazing positions I have that require in-game attendance, but also so I can just be there with my friends in-game and have fun with them, even if I'm just a silly camera floating around them, not being able to speak.
To be completely honest, Orion Drift is the only place where I feel safe anymore and the only place I have actual friends who understand me and support me for who I am.
If I am able to attain access to the spectator camera within the time before I go to boarding school, that would, of course, be awesome, as then I can still be there. But if I can't, then I believe this upcoming week and a bit more (July 21st - 28th) might be my last full week where I am able to play Orion Drift and talk with my absolutely amazing friends. I am going on holiday to Croatia from July 29. - August 8. where i will then be home for 2 days preparing for boarding school so up until the 8th is probably the last bit you will hear from me until further notice.
I will be trying to make daily updates for each of the days I am at the boarding school, which can be found at the top of this page when finally added. The page is hosted on a VPS of mine and the website on a Git repo, so even without Wi-Fi I can write my day journals. When I get just a bit of Wi-Fi, I can upload it for y'all to read if you want.
Anyway, that's about all I have to say.
